Programs

The following is a list of the projected programs to be initiated and operated between Philadelphia and China by the China Trade Center of Philadelphia:

1. Trade Missions and Business Development:

Organizing groups for official business visits; making contacts; exchanging information
Presenting business opportunities and facilitating assistance
Providing information and assessing validity of projects
Locating expos and trade shows; helping with registration and participation

2. Educational Exchange Programs

Exchanging students, teachers and scholars between schools in Philadelphia and China
Helping enroll participants into study programs, such as languages, business, banking, health care, environment, insurance, IT industries, legal, arts and music, etc.
Arranging for room and board, transportation, insurance, tuition and certificate
Facilitating with visa, enrollment letter, invitation and other paper and documents

3. Import and Export Business

Updating trade policies, quotas, commodities and related information
Locating buyers, sellers, end users, distribution system or source of product
Assisting with negotiation, credit line, L/C and freight forwarding
Helping evaluate and examine agreements, contracts and other documents

4. Cultural, Art and Sport Exchange Programs

Coordinating art, cultural and sport events with ambassadors and delegations from both places
Arrangement for presentations, venues, exhibitions, accommodations and transportation
